1. Items required: passport, Alien ID card, a copy of your employment contract, and patience.
2. Get your ass out of bed and walk to the nearest SC First Bank.
3. Bring everything to the teller and mention that you want a credit card.
4. She will say this is impossible for foreigners. Tell her she's wrong.
5. Call the SC First Bank English service number if necessary.
6. Choose a card. If you decide to get an air miles earning card, be sure to have your frequent flyer number handy. Or else they will issue you a new frequent flier number. (Yes. Both spellings are correct.)
7. Tell the bank teller to mail the card directly to the bank and contact you when it arrives.
8. Go home and have a drink. The entire ordeal was only an hour.
*Costco only accepts Samsung cards.
