Wall-E

Last weekend I saw Wall-E. If you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend it. It's by the geniuses at Pixar (now a part of Disney). In terms of story, creativity, and production, this film was a joy. Aside from the humor, this movie has a lot of messages. Most of them are critical of our modern society. For example, instead of President of the United States, the position is referred to as the CEO of the United States. In addition, the future is a world where people do nothing except sit in a chair. Everything is brought to them. As a consequence, everyone is overweight. There is also a computer character taken from Stanley Kubrick's 2001. It looks and acts like "HAL."

Finally, before the film begins there is a hilarious creative short.

Here it is in its entirety:

The rabbit is so cute. =)

Wall-E totally looks like the robot from "Short Circuit"... minus the cheesy 80's style of course
