Are You Happy?

“We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”
Frederick Keonig

“There is no end of craving. Hence contentment alone is the best way to happiness. Therefore, acquire contentment.”
Swami Sivananda

“True contentment depends not upon what we have; a tub was large enough for Diogenes, but a world was too little for Alexander.”
Charles Caleb Colton

“What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life”
Hermann Hesse

Are you content? It seems most of us are not. Unless you live in Europe or the Bahamas...

I wish I saw it before this morning,I had no idea about being happy so I think rank at 103 is not that bad..--;

I think one of the reasons could be because Koreans work the longest hours in the OECD. 2,357 hours a year to be exact. The Dutch (#15) work the shortest hours in the OECD. Greece is a beautiful country near the ocean with great weather, but the people also work long hours (#2 OECD 2,052 hours year). Greece's ranking in the happiness index is #84.
